These are temp files thus actually it is fine to skip them. You can have a test to clear temp files before backup so that these files will be removed. If the files still exists, try to logon an administrator account locally, test if it can delete these files manually.Shaon Shan |TechNet Subscriber Support in forum |If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com

Hi Shaon, Thanks for the reply. I know these are temp files and some I can delete manually through the local admin account. There are a few, however, I can't because the logged on account is using them. What really concerns me is that when ever a user logs on, these files get re-created. The new files then produce "access is denied" errors during an NTBACKUP run. It appears a default set of these files, that have some sort of security issue, is being used to create new instances whenever a user doesn't already have them, thus the problem propagates itself. If I delete these files from a particular user, then log on that user and get on the Web, the files re-appear for that user and will cause errors during backup. I've checked the security settings on other machines for some of these skipped files and it appears they have the same user/owner security settings, but I don't have another machine in the domain that is a non-domain controller server running the same OS. Thanks, Michael Saffold
